Hoa và Em (Flower and I)

“Hoa và Em” project is a series of posters in which flowers are the centerpiece of the image. Through different flower species, I aim at reflecting the characteristics of girls who have fallen in love .
With a technique focusing on making the flowers look bright, fragile, transparent like glass, I also want to represent their emotional vulnerability and desire for safety in their romantic relationship. (see the Tutorial to know how to make it)
One of its poster is Orchid. The purple orchids represent a meaning as a message of deep, sincere and faithful love. People give purple orchids to their beloved ones to express and guarantee their timeless romantic love.
Although the project has not been completed, it is my most favourable one because it has "somehow" spoken volume of my personlity and my aesthetics.

Dish-of-the- week
Dish-of-the-week project is a series of posters promoting my favorite dishes, ranging from local specialities to worldwide popular foods/ beverages.
I have made many posters for this project, yet these two couples of posters are my most favourable ones.

As I have a solid knowledge foundation of designing, I decided to work as freelance designer to gain more experience.
I did not earn much money from these projects since most of them are runned by student and not for profit. Yet the experience that I have gain while I was working there is precious.

Quynh Thien Debate Tournament is an offline debate event of Together We Grow Organization. This event is held to help children in Quynh Thien secondary school in Nghe An get access to debating - a though-provoking activity for the youth.
Design of Quynh Thien Debate Tournament must represent the passion, desire of the young people while debating.
The TVI Organization - a non-profit organization was founded with the desire to find solutions to social problems, according to the 17 sustainable development goals of the United Nations.
Design of The TIVI Organization tries to represent the vitality, excitement, and engergy of the young people who have big dream.

Besides paid jobs, I also take part in extra-curricular activites as voluntary graphic designer for some non-profit projects, organization. As I want to sharpen my skill, I have worked for more than 3 organizations at the same time. Hence, I did feel overloaded but that my skill has been improved pays off.
LQDOMUN has contributed to form me at the present. I joined LQDOMUN's Design Department when I knew little about design and was not even used to Adobe software. Yet with the help from the leader and other members, I had been encouraged to step out of my comfort zone and gotexposed to brand-new experience. Honestly, there is no words I could use to describe my grattitude towards LQDOMUN's Design Department
IVMUN was the second Model UN I applied to as a graphic designer. Since I worked remotely, I did not communicate with other members but I sucessfully got closer to my department's leader and sometimes asked for her feedback on my poster. Thanks to IVMUN, I could expand my networking with such great people all over the country and sharpen my skills due to their feedback.
Back to the time when I became the official member of Rising Scientess, I was not really confident since my knowledge about STEM was limited. However, other members warmly welcomed me and instructed me what to do. Futhermore, as they knew I was not comfortable with teaching, they let me design poster for them, which was my strength, and I was happy with it. Then I put effort in helping Rising Scientess's visual on social media become more attractive to people so that many people will know about this helpful organization and its program.
